On 27 May 2026, CARINA partners Terres Inovia, ARVALIS and Saipol organised a dedicated event on camelina cultivation at the INRAE facility in Nouzilly, France. The event brought together farmers, advisors and industry representatives to discuss results from four years of experimentation and field monitoring conducted within the framework of the CARINA project.
Participants reviewed experiences with camelina as both a summer and winter intermediate crop and discussed key agronomic factors influencing successful crop establishment and integration into existing cropping systems. The event also highlighted emerging opportunities linked to Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) and the use of camelina and carinata co-products in animal nutrition.
